This flair I added to commemorate my decision to attend East Carolina University for grad school, where the mascot is the much feared PeeDee the Pirate. The Pirate life is vastly different than I originally imagined, but I can't say it's ever boring! And hey, I'm accomplishing a childhood dream of becoming a pirate- what could be better than that?
